GM has introduced the new engine on the 2012 Buick LaCrosse when the car is launched later this year.
The new 3.6-liter direct-injection V6 LFX engine comes with 299 hp and 358 Nm of torque, 22 hp increase over the previous engine. Fuel-economy with the new engine stays the same at 13.8-liter / 100 km in the city and 8.7-liter / 100 km on the highway as the 2.4-liter 4-cylinder engine.
Buick will provide the engine on the 2012 LaCrosse for the same price as the 2.4-liter 4-cylinder variant.
