2011 Renault Megane RS 265 Trophy

Renault has unveiled the Megane Renaultsport 265 Trophy. This is the latest and fastest edition of Renault Megane, which will make its debut this week at the Nurburgring, Germany.

The RS Megane 265 Trophy is equipped by a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine, capacity of 265 hp and 360 Nm of torque. The car accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 6 seconds and reached a top speed of 254 km/h.

One of the new features of the car contributing greatly to its performance is the Formula 1-inspired high-performance Bridgestone Potenza RE050A. However, the car still uses the chassis and the suspension of the RS Megane 250.

In addition, it will feature some very impressive equipment including a Cup chassis, 19-inch gloss black Speedline alloys with red detailing, Recaro seats and standard LED daytime running lights.

The RS Megane 265 Trophy will be limited to only 500 units, 50 of which will be sold in the UK, priced from £27,820.
