According to Car magazine, BMW could launch an X3 M as early as 2012.
We've already seen the X5 M and X6 M but now the M treatment is stretching down to the smaller X3 range. The magazine says that the high-performance model will likely be equipped tri-turbocharged 3.2-liter 6-cylinder engine, capacity of 449 hp.
