Yo-Mobile: Russia's First Hybrid Model


The event launched Russia's first hybrid model more particularly when the presence of Prime Minister Vladimir Putin.

Yo-Mobile was developed by Yo-Auto, a joint venture between Yarovit Motors (truck manufacturer) and the Onexim Group (the company of Russian billionaire Mikhail Prokhorov). This will be the cars were built for use mainly in cities with low operating costs, with hybrid engines will be manufactured in Togliatti in the coming year.


As announced, Yo-Mobile only average fuel consumption of 3.5 liters/100 km, the car's operating range up to 1,100 km. The car accelerates from 0 - 100 km/h in 7-8 seconds and can reach a top speed of 130 km/h.

Yo-Mobile includes three models: the Hatchbach, the Cross-Coupe and the Van. The car will be available on the market in mid 2012 with retail prices in Russia from 12,000 to $ 15,000 (approximately 8,500 to € 10,500). The most advanced version will be equipped with the 4WD system, satellite navigation systems and climate control system automatically.
