Toyota Will Close Plants in North America


Mike Goss, a Toyota spokesman said sure that Toyota will close its plants in North America due to lack of spare parts imported from Japan.

Mike Goss said the closure of factories likely will be conducted later this month and the case will affect the lives of about 25,000 workers.

Currently still unclear, these plants will be closed for how long because it depends on the resumption of operation of the factory accessories in Japan.

Currently, Toyota must import about 15% spare parts from Japanese for cars and trucks produced in North America. Toyota has more than 10 factories in North America.
