The Latest Information about the 2012 Chevrolet Corvette

After the leak earlier this week, Chevrolet has officially released the latest information about the 2012 Corvette. According to the latest information, 2012 Chevrolet Corvette is equipped with new seats, steering wheel and a center panel is adjusted to create conditions favorable for the driver.

Furthermore, Chevrolet also offers new options for the 2012 Corvette include a Bose audio system, a technology package (with GPS navigation) and colored brake calipers (in red, yellow, silver or gray).


While the Z06 version can be ordered with Performance Traction Management, Magnetic Selective Ride Control, a carbon fiber hood and Michelin Pilot Sport Cup Zero Pressure tires which are "essentially street-legal versions of a racing tire."

Likewise, the ZR1 version will be equipped a new PDE performance package with a full-width rear spoiler and new aluminum wheels equipped the aforementioned tires. More notably, the car also has a revised transmission - with taller gearing - which enables it to achieve an additional 2 mpg highway.

Currently, Chevrolet has not announced the price of the 2012 Corvette but production is slated to begin in July.
