Fiat Freemont Prices Start from € 25,700 in Italy


Available in two versions, Freemont and Urban, the crossover will retail from € 25,700 for the base equipment package, with the Urban version to cost €27,200.

Specifically, with € 25,700, customers will own Fiat Freemont with standard equipment such as a seven seats, 17-inch alloy wheels, three-zone automatic climate control, 4.3-inch touch screen, cruise control, radio-CD unit with MP3, trip computer, fog lights, tyre pressure monitoring system, keyless entry system and child booster system.

Meanwhile, the Urban adds a Bluetooth system, leather-covered steering wheel and gearshift lever, lights sensor, electrically adjustable driver's seat, parking sensors, roof rails, electrically adjustable rearview mirrors and blacked-out rear windows.

Currently, the Freemont is offered only with a 2.0-liter Multijet diesel engine, capacity of 140 and 170 hp, maximum torque of 350 Nm at 1750 rpm. The car accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 10.2 seconds.

Both the Freemont and the Urban are fitted with the 140 hp engine, while upgrading to the 170 hp will cost buyers € 1,500 ($2,160). Expected later this year, Fiat will offer 3.6-liter V6 petrol engine, capacity of 276 hp, produced by Chrysler. In addition, the higher power diesel and the V6 gasoline will also be offered with 4WD system and will be linked to automatic transmissions.

When available on the European market, Fiat Freemont was improved steering and suspension systems to suit the tastes of consumers. Accordingly, the Fiat engineers have upgraded the front suspension to reduce the risk of flipping the same time optimizing the balance between comfort and handling.
