The Audi A6L will be officially introduced to the world, towards the global market at the Shanghai Auto Show.
In early March 2005, under the cooperation between Audi AG and FAW Group, the Audi A6L has been built at the Changchun plant, China.
The A6L was produced exclusively, to serve for Chinese market, the largest market of the Audi brand. Audi particularly emphasized the importance of the A6L in China when sales of this model exceeds compared with other many competitors in its segment.
However, with the introduction of the BMW 5-Series EV in last year, distributor in China of the Audi brand is starting to feel pressure and they need to take more initiative.
