The car equipped with 4.0-liter 6 cylinder engine, capacity of 464 hp. Combined with gasoline engine is a hybrid engine system, with a flywheel to store energy and recover faster.
According to Porsche, the 911 GT3 R Hybrid uses a small generator to provide power for the electric motor instead of lithium-ion battery systems, due to this mechanism, the car will immediately add 160 horsepower after car boot a few seconds.
The engineers have optimized the aerodynamics significantly reduce friction, which improves performance. In addition, the car weight just 1,300 kg, less than 50 kg compared to the previous race car.
The car will join the Nurburgring 24H race took place on June 25.
