Three years since the first debuted at the 2008 North American International Auto Show, the Fisker Karma has officially up production lines in Finland.
Speaking to Automotive News magazine, spokesman for Fisker, Mr. Roger Ormisher said, production process of the Karma is monitored closely, carefully to ensure quality and provide the best products for customers. Our goal this year is producing about 7,000 units. The dealer will receive car next month.
The Karma is equipped with 2-liter 4-cylinder engine with 260 hp combined with two electric motors and lithium-ion battery (20kW), total capacity of 403 hp. This allows the car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 5.9 seconds and hit a top speed of 201 km/h. It returns 3.5-liter/100 km and CO2 emissions of just 83 g/km.
In the U.S. market, the Karma with price is $ 95,900. However, the U.S. government will support $ 7,500 of tax money so customers pay only the amount is $ 88,400.
