Audi Aims To Increase Sales In the U.S.

At press conference of America Audi on March 8, Johan de Nysschen-President of North America Audi predicts this year will sell 114,000 cars and in 2012 will sell 120,000 cars.
Last year, Audi sales in the U.S. reached a record 101,629 vehicles, about 10% of sales 1.1 million units sold worldwide.
The Manufacturers German luxury car has huge factory in the U.S. such as: BMW, Mercedes-Benz of Daimler AG were manufactured in the U.S., VW also recently built a factory in Chattanooga, Tennessee, is part of a $ 5 billion investment package in North America.
BMW and Mercedes in the U.S. market each company sold over 220,000 cars and light trucks, behind only Toyota (229,329 cars).
According to De Nysschen, Audi's fewer promotions than most other competitors and strive to increase sales by offering attractive models and advanced manufacturing technology. De Nysschen said, "About 24 to 30 next month, Audi plans to offer diesel versions of the A6, A8 and Q5 SUV for U.S. market. ".
Audi may be slower than the competitors in the U.S., but in the Chinese market, Audi has been present long been the dominant cause for the company to strengthen its global position.
Rupert Stadler, CEO of Audi AG in Germany has announced, this year, Audi is expected to increase sales by 10%, equivalent to 1.2 million vehicles worldwide and in 2015 will surpass BMW to become a luxury car manufacturer to no.1 in the world.
This year, Audi will launch 13 new models, including the redesigned A6 sedan, and SUV Q3 compact and Hybrid Q5. Last year, Audi profits $ 3.6 billion, double the 2009, revenue increased 19% to reach $ 50 billion.
