Toyota to cut production in 2011

Toyota decided to cut automobile production plan for 2011 is about 200,000 cars, so there will be about 7.8 million cars produced in the next year.

This information is put on 6-12 by Reuters, quoted from the Asahi Shimbun newspaper, which, in 2011 the third consecutive year Toyota does not production over 8 million cars.

As usual, Toyota did not comment on this information, the world's largest car company does not have the habit of published information on production plans.

Toyota's sales in the U.S. last November reached 129,317 cars, down 7.3% over the same period last year. If not for sales of luxury brand Lexus, Toyota sold 111,077 cars, down 3.6% compared to November 2009.

But the decision to reduce output does not mean Toyota does not extend the production line in the emerging markets, for example in India, recently, Toyota launched Etios, low cost sedan promises to boost sales and expand its plants in the second most populous market in the world.
