Volkswagen Group owns a large number of vehicle brand reputation and when experts of the brands cooperation together, make sure the result will be wonderful product.
According whatcar, Bentley and Audi, two brands owned by VW, is working to develop a new line of V8 engines. These engines will be used for the Continental GT in late 2011 and also will be used for a number of Audi models.
V8 engine being developed will have a capacity of four liters and the focus will be the fuel efficiency of the engine.
This engine will help both Bentley and Audi reduced the average CO2 emissions. Expected, this engine will reduce CO2 by 40% compared with the W12 engine was used for the Continental GT.
