2011 Toyota Highlander is expected to debut with more robust design included two engine choices to suit each market.
According to sources from Russia, 2011 Toyota Highlander will debut at Moscow Auto Show held in late August. Then, the new SUV will soon start presence on the market.
2011 Toyota Highlander will bring a redesigned front fascia that shows a more bold design. The changes include the headlights, which now offer a sharper look , the grille, which comes with two horizontal lines instead of three and the front bumper. This offers a more sophisticated design that also manages to give the car a more rugged appearance and houses new fog lamps.
Currently, Toyota has not announced the official specifications of the new SUV. However, the above sources again confirm that new models will be equipped with 3.5-liters V6 engines, capacity of 273 horsepower. The unit will be mated to a five-speed automatic transmission. As for the North American market, 2011 Highlander will apply 4-cylinders 2.7-liters engine.
Also, 2011 Toyota Highlander will add hybrid version to adapt to trends green car which was popular on the market today.
