Improved Mazda2 unveiled


Mazda has unveiled the first image of the subcompact Mazda2, a improved version, for the European market. As planned, this car will appear at the Paris Auto Show next October.

Similar the American version, the Mazda2 for European customers has a first part new design style characteristic of the Mazda family, a smile grille and some minor interior improvements.

In addition, the new Mazda2 will be equipped with the chassis that feels more comfortable for driver and a new automatic transmission with the engine meets emission standards for Euro 5.

Along with the Mazda2, the Mazda5 and the Mazda3 will be unveiled at the Paris Auto Show. Both cars use a 1.6-liter engine with 115 horsepower, combined with a 6-speed manual gearbox, to help save fuel. Specifically, the Mazda5 consumes only 5.2l/100km, while the Mazda3 is 4.4l/100km and emits 117g/km of CO2.
