VW welcome Two New Models

According to the latest report, Volkswagen said the company will soon introduce the Jetta hybrid in 2012 and an electric version of the Up in 2013.


While some details remain hidden, the vehicle is considered an important part of Volkswagen's plans to become the largest automobile manufacturer in the world. However, the company predict that hybrid and electric cars can only account for 3% sales worldwide annually by 2018.

VW has began producing the Touareg SUV hybrid, and plans to launch a hybrid version of the Jetta in 2012, then the Passat and the Golf hybrid in 2013. The E-Golf EV will be tested in the coming year and the E-Golf and the e-Up will be sold in 2013.

According to VW CEO, Martin Winterkorn said. "Our goal is pretty clear and ambitious, Volkswagen will become a mass-produced electric cars for everyone ..."

Besides planning the production of this model, Martin Winterkorn also confirmed that he will launch a Volkswagen Lavida hybrid in China and begin testing the next generation Golf TwinDrive plug-in hybrid late this year.

Volkswagen, the largest automobile manufacturers in Europe, was a leading brand of clean diesel technology, petrol engine fuel save for many years. Currently, VW is developing electricity cars, required to meet increasingly strict emission into the environment of many countries around the world.
