Ford Focus ST Will Appear in Paris

Version of the new generation Focus will debut at the 2010 Paris Auto Show with EcoBoost engine, beside other mass-produced versions.


Information surrounding this model has long appeared on the forums and online newspapers, but now fans can write to diary the exact time is October to admire it.

Back in March, director of Ford's product development, Derrick Kuzak, who revealed the full version of Focus ST with new "EcoBoost engine pressure turbine". Everyone assumed that 2.5 liters engine will be replaced by engine direct fuel injection turbine 2 liters.

The exact strength of the ST has not been confirmed, but kind 2.0 EcoBoost 200 hp was used on the S-Max, the Galaxy and the Mondeo. The ST may have a capacity of 250 horsepower and 350 Nm of torque.

With this strength, the ST will be faster than rivals from Renault (Megane). It can speed 0-100 km/h after less than six seconds and a top speed of 250 km/h. Fuel consumption 8.1 liters/100 km and CO2 emissions 187 g/km.

The Focus 5-door and estate versions are expected in showrooms in April, 2011. The ST version will appear later the same year.
