The MP4-12C is equipped by a twin supercharged 3.8-liter engine, with Ricardo partner, capacity of 600 hp at 7,000 rpm, 599 Nm of torque at 3,000 rpm. It is mated to a Seamless Shift clutch seven-speed, allowing the supercar to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in around 3.8 seconds, from 0-200 km/h under 10 seconds and speed brake from 200 km/h in less than 5 seconds, top speed of 300 km/h.
CO2 emissions of 300 g/km, a 307 g/km lower than Ferrari 458 and 314g/km of Mercedes SLS.

As planned, McLaren will build 1,000 MP4-12Cs, but 2,500 people have expressed interest in owning the MP4-12Cs. The car will be sold starting from spring 2011 through 35 dealers located in 19 countries worldwide.
